It has been a long and cold winter but Spring is finally here! HOORAY!
As the temps rise and the flowers start to poke up from their winter slumber, the rail trail is waiting for your return too. We know you love the trail and now is your chance to show that love. On APRIL 10TH the Trail Authority is hosting the 2021 Spring Trail Cleanup. Help us get the trail looking its best for the coming season of walks, rides and strolls.
We know that YOU don’t litter on the Trail, but somebody does and the Trail needs you on APRIL 10TH starting at 9 AM to pick a section of trail and do your best at cleaning up the litter. Meet at either the Lewisburg Trailhead near the Miller Center OR the Mifflinburg Trailhead on 5th street. There you can grab some bags, a grabber. You will be assigned a section of trail to cover and when you’re done, just return any equipment you borrowed by noon with the knowledge that YOU helped preserve the beauty of one of Union County’s favorite public spaces.
This even has a rain date of April 17th. Check for more updates and details on the BVRT Facebook page: BVRT Facebook
